This week saw the English Senior Amateur Women Championship at Hayling Island Golf Club.

The weather was beautiful and the course in great condition, the volunteers from both the club and England Golf ensured the event went well and congratulations goes to Tracey Williamson of Sherringham Golf Club, who won the Championship.

Congratulations also go to Alison Holland of Hayling Island, who won the Handicap Championship.

Playing in the handicap championship, provided a unique insight in to the players experience of championship events, which hopefully I can use to improve future WOTT events.  Thanks to my playing partners this week, who made the practice and 2 competition days an enjoyable experience, even if my golf could have been better,
