WOTT Events Open for Entries

Hello,

The day has arrived and we are excited to open the registration for our inaugural season’s competitions.

It has been fun working towards this date and a welcome distraction from this latest and hopefully last lockdown.

The recent announcements and ROADMAP for returning to golf from the Government and Golf’s Governing Bodies enables us to run our competitions as planned and look forward to welcoming you to our competitions over the coming months and years.

Our 2021 schedule is almost complete, our first 5 events are open for registration TODAY at 9am:

1 DAY Competitions
25th May – Mill Ride – Strokeplay WHS Qualifier
28th June – High Post – Strokeplay WHS Qualifier
11th August – Bromborough – Strokeplay WHS Qualifier
15th September – Leamington and County – Strokeplay WHS Qualifier

2 DAY Competition
29th & 30th September – Kenwick Park – 4BBB & Strokeplay WHS Qualifier.

SIGNING UP – how it works
Women on the Tee Events are open to members ONLY.  Please sign up here to become a MEMBER.

• When registering for a Women on the Tee event, you will be placed asked to provide a credit card to pay for your entry.
• You will be placed on a pending players list, you will not be charged at this stage.  There are 72 places in each event.
• Entrants to all competitions will be placed on a pending players list.
• Once the pending list is full you will be placed on a Waiting List.
• All competition entries will close 3 weeks before the event.
• Entrants will be moved from pending to the players list and your credit card will be charged at this time.
• You will received confirmation of your place and charges to your credit card.
• You will receive an email with competition terms and instructions for the day.
• Tee Sheets and scorecards will be provided through the mobile app.
• Scoring will be via the mobile app.
• After the competition closes your scores will be uploaded to the WHS system.

COVID SAFE
Women on the Tee have invested in Golf Genius tournament software, providing CONTACTLESS  Competition Registration, Check-In, Scoring and Leaderboard management.

We will be launching our mobile app, where you can see all the events you have entered in one place and keep up to date with Women on the Tee activities later this month.

Our Pro-Am at Bowood, in partnership with the WPGA & PGA, and final Strokeplay at South Staffordshire Golf Club in October, will be open for registration on the 8th March

WOTT Progress Update

We are working on a new online community which will launch later this month.

We are planning our 2022 and 2023 schedules, working with our 2021 host courses and adding new competitions and courses, including Ganton, Gogmagog, Enville, Burnham & Berrow & other exciting venues to our program.

We are excited and ready to welcome you to our new community of women golfers and looking forward to an exciting year!
