US Golf Initiatives for Women and Girls

In August 2024, the New York Times reported in their article, Supporting the Next Wave of Female Golfers, the fastest growing sector in Golf in the US is Women.

Since 2020, a number of national initiatives have grown to support new women and girls in Golf, moany of these initiatives are supported by commercial and professional organisations, ensuring free and low cost entry programs for women and girls in to Golf.  Historically, Golf has been perceived to be out of reach for many due to cost and time constraints, however the acknowledgement and support for these new programs is ensuring a new cohort of women and girls can access Golf.
