Handicap Allowance Table

In November 2020, the World Handicap System was implemented in the UK.

A new handicap allowances table was published, which encompasses all competition formats, a copy of this is below:

The R&A have published guidelines for using 95% handicap allowance when field sizes vary and the handicaps within the competition range is skewed to higher or lower handicap players.  The table below provides some guidance, further information is available ob the R&A website HERE or by clicking on the image below:

For players playing in a competition or match, where the players use different tees, the Mixed Tee Calculator provides you with the ability to work out each players handicap and stroke allowance for the competition.  This has been produced by the governing bodies and is available on both the England Golf and Scottish Golf websites, under their WHS resources section:
