WOTT on the Radio

On Tuesday the 4th May at 630pm, Julie, the WOTT Founder, will be interviewed on BBC Radio Coventry & Warwickshire, during the interview, Julie will be talking about WOTT, her goal to raise the profile of women’s golf across the UK, to highlight the commitment and passion women have for golf and her passion for creating more playing opportunities and experiences for amateur women golfers across regional and national borders.

Julie will be making an announcement about the WOTT and Senior European Tour and Staysure Partnership and an EXCLUSIVE WOTT Event in Partnership with the European Tour at the Staysure PGA Seniors Championship on Saturday 31st July, at Formby and Formby Ladies Golf Club, COVID guidelines permitting.

TEST & LEARN

As this is our first year, 2021 is a year of testing and learning. Over the last couple of weeks, we have been asked to add in a 4BBB team event, we have now created a new 4BBB competition entry to be played behind the Strokeplay at High Post on 28th June.

One of the great things about using the tournament software is that we can add this format and test out both on the same day.

MILL RIDE WOTT Inaugural Event

Registration open until Thursday 5th May at 5pm.

Due to COVID the inaugural WOTT event at Mill Ride, Ascot, is limited to 27 places.

We have 24 players from Lancashire, Leicestershire, Berkshire Kent, West Midlands & Surrey signed up, an experienced England Golf Referee from Buckinghamshire, to officiate along with our Golf Genius Account Manager who will be there to ensure there are no or minimal technical glitches on the day.

The original plan was to have 2 divisions mid amateur and senior, due to the limited field size, there will only be one division for all age groups
