Last Few Places at Mill Ride, Ascot, Berkshire…

8 Places left for Mill Ride inaugural WOTT Event

Due to COVID the inaugural WOTT event at Mill Ride, Ascot, will be limited to 27 places. Currently we have 19 players from Lancashire, Leicestershire, Berkshire & Surrey signed up, an experienced England Golf Referee from Buckinghamshire, to officiate along with our Golf Genius Account Manager who will be there to ensure there are no or minimal technical glitches on the day.

The original plan was to have 2 divisions mid amateur and senior, due to the limited field size, there will only be one division for all age groups.

England Golf General Scoring in WHS App

This week, England Golf announced that “Golfers can now pre-register and post scores from general play rounds at any rated course in England via the ‘My England Golf’ app.”

“By allowing scores to be easily added to a player’s record from general play rounds at any rated venue on the England Golf platform, it will be possible to build a more complete and accurate record of a golfer’s actual playing ability.”

WOTT events are similar to General Play Rounds, except you are playing in a field with a few other like minded women golfers on interesting courses.

US Women’s OPEN – 1600 entries
Competitive women golfer’s at all levels are signing up and getting out there and enjoying playing in a competitive environment, this weeks announcement by the USGA, that they had received almost 1,600 entries for the US Women’s Open 2021, is a testament to the fact, that we do enjoy our competitive golf as much as we enjoy our friendly golf….
